Pulse eddy currents
The Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) method is an NDT method that is used to quickly map the corrosion state and residual wall thickness of a pipe, pressure vessel, or vessel, even through insulation. When carrying out the collection, we are able to save the customer's costs, while it is not necessary to remove the insulation. Subsequently, a detailed mapping is performed, where the state of the material with a detailed drawing and a 3D model is detected by means of an attached probe. Also, the analysis and evaluation itself is performed faster than other NDT methods. The measured values are relative and represent a record of the change in wall thickness (or loss of material) of the inspected subject compared to the reference (known) value. For this activity, we use top technologies from the company Eddyfi with the designation LYFT and REDDY.
